Guest speakers are invited from time to time, based on delegate feedback or specific requests.  Specific training sessions can be arranged to meet your or your hospital’s particular needs – don’t hesitate to contact us in this regard.

Workshops are held in the RCA Training Centre, situated in our offices in Kya Sands Business Park Randburg.  We offer an informative and enjoyable day beginning with a theoretical session using a big screen presentation, with every effort being made to ensure that the theory is evidence based.

Following lunch on the patio, a practical session with actual machines and real life scenarios based on case studies kicks off with all participants having the change to set up or trouble shoot the products – hands on has never been clearer. Doctors benefit from this session more than most as they have the opportunity to work with products from set up to go, including calibrating when necessary. Something they do not often have the opportunity to do in the NICU / ICU setting High Frequency oscillatory and CPAP ventilator support.

Following the practical session, there is an opportunity to engage in question and answer time with the specialists, which is always an interesting and sometimes a very lively session.

Registration for all workshops is from 08h30 to 09h00, with the presentation commencing promptly at 09h00.

To make a booking, please contact our Training Co-ordinator, Theresa de Villiers to check availability as courses are limited to a maximum of 25 participants.  This may be done by fax or email.  Please feel free to complete the on-line Registration Form.
